MOST ENTREPRENEURIAL PLAN – AUSTRALASIAN WINNER

Winner: Emma Boland

Plan: Bola Bons

Bola Bons is a specially designed birthday bon bons manufacturer. The target market is children’s birthday parties. Emma established there was a gap in the market with bon bons only being available for Christmas festivities. The bon bons will be safe and fun to use.

DIVISION THREE – AUSTRALASIAN WINNER (Group Entries)

Plan: Little Munchkin, Early Childhood Care Centre

Little Munchkin, Early Childhood Care Centre looks at developing a business that will provide child care for children six weeks to five years old in a safe and friendly environment. It will provide affordable and high quality child care that will assist the children to reach their full potential. The business is situated in a new building in the centre of Civic in the ACT. The target market is professional working parents, with middle to high incomes who work in the building or in the nearby city. Little Munchkins will be a convenient place for working parents to leave and pick up their children.

DIVISION TWO – AUSTRALASIAN WINNER (under 16 year of age)

Business Plan: Perfect Pets Veterinary Clinic

Shane has recognised there is a niche market in providing a complete service of veterinary operations, health, medical and dental care, grooming, training, short-term accommodation and selling a range of pet products. Perfect Pets Veterinary Clinic will target high wealth individuals in the inner south of Canberra where there is a concentration of high disposable income families who can afford to pamper their pets. The objective is to establish a one-stop clinic for all of the family pet requirements. The business aims to be a market leader in veterinary care and pet supplies.

DIVISION ONE – AUSTRALASIAN WINNER

Business Plan: FitKidz

In today’s society childhood obesity is a great concern. FitKidz will promote classes that develop fitness and fun. Young children will be encouraged to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle. The classes will be available for children from 4-12 years who will be placed in classes suitable for their age. Programs will be designed to focus on aerobic fitness, anaerobic fitness, flexibility, strength, balance and coordination. The activities will be stimulating, engaging and fun for each child. Ben’s business will be situated in Ayr in a quiet, but central location less than two minutes from the CBD.
