QETA aims to:
- support and promote Economics and Business Education in schools
- sponsor and support activities such as student competitions, student
seminar days, professional development for teachers
- liaise with commercial and government organisations in relation to
the development and provision of suitable teaching and learning resources
- contribute to curriculum development in Economics,
Studies of Society and Environment
and Business Education
- advocate on behalf of Economics educators
- promote the public recognition of the role of Economics
- provide input into educational reviews through submissions.

Econopak
ECONOPAK is the quarterly journal of QETA. It
is usually 48 pages of articles and teaching ideas related to teaching
Economics in the secondary school and is usually published as a CD-ROM.
