Membership

SEV (Social Education Victoria) is a professional association established in 1970 for all who are interested in teaching about society and environment using integrated approaches to SOSE course content.

Mission Statement

To be an effective educational organisation which provides leadership and promotes quality teaching and learning in SOSE.

Vision Statement

To be a leader in:

* affirming the critical importance of SOSE in the curriculum;
* providing professional development which meets the needs of teachers of SOSE from P to 12;
* developing resources; and
* providing forums for discussion of professional issues.
